Normalization is major political scandal: Houthi official

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Yemen's National Delegation Head, Mohammad Abdulsalam, affirmed that making normalization in successive steps is with the aim of dragging the rest of regimes and to create a state of realism, encouraging the other conservative and fearful states.

Abdulsalam told Al-Ahed News website that: “The agenda of the normalization agreements, starting with the Emirates and then Bahrain, created a state of realism from the illegal deal, trying to encourage some countries that may be conservative about the normalization decision or Frightened for internal or external considerations.

He added, "Normalization is considered a major political scandal of the Palestinian issue. That is why we believe that making the normalization deals in successive steps is in an attempt to drag the rest to the normalization."

He also indicated that "the US has its interests in sponsoring these agreements," stressing that "the it uses these deals in favor of the elections and in the interest of Trump personally, so Trump says explicitly that he is making achievements before the elections."

He stressed that if this normalization takes place, the Palestinian issue will be further alienated, and the Zionists will become free in moving around the region.

Abdulsalam emphasized that the reliance is on the peoples of the region, the Islamic resistance movements, and some regimes that still adhere to the Palestinian cause."
